But sometimes, e.g. when you are developing a SharePoint solution, you want a crawl to happen right now. These are the steps you have to take:</div>

<li>Go to the central administration of your SharePoint Server</li>
<li>On the left side under &#8216;Shared Services Administration&#8217;, click on &#8216;SharedServices1&#8242; or an equivalent of it</li>
<li>In the area &#8216;Search&#8217;, click &#8216;Search Settings&#8217;</li>
<li>There, click &#8216;Content sources and crawl schedules&#8217;</li>
<li>Finally, find the arrow on the right end of the name of &#8216;Local Office SharePoint Server sites&#8217;, click it and start the crawling. Attention: If you start a Full Crawl, it may be that you have to wait a really long time.</li>

I tried solving it with adding the &#8216;ShellNew&#8217;-Key to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/.txt as described in many places, but the problem was not resolved.

But if you do the search including all non-indexed locations you will it in C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework. So msbuild is not a program in the programs folder, it is a utility in the .NET folder.</p>
<p>If you want to use it, there is a simpler way, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 comes with a customized console that you can find here:</p>
